The Jimmies have already had two games with Brandon University in Canada and won both of them. The team will have an alumni game at Jamstown Middle School before heading to Iowa for a couple of games against ranked teams.
The team is young with only a few returning players, but should make for an exciting season, Wick said.
Quincy Backen was in charge the meeting, Jason Bitz gave the table prayer, Larry Hoffman and Gina Dahl led the group in music and Doug Panchot collected “Happy Dollars” for Rotary projects. Jamestown High School student guests this month are Ashtyn Stein and Alexis Grabinger. Both are seniors at JHS.
Casey Stoudt inducted new member Troy LeFevor. Todd Hudspeth has also joined the Jamestown Rotary Club. Gail Martin thanked the members for their help with the annual rose sale and the club noted a thank you to the men’s soccer team at Jamestown College which sold 350 dozen roses.
Backen reminded members of Christmas light hanging today and Wednesday starting at 3:30 p.m.
Austin Martin has today’s program, Gregor the invocation, Stoudt music and Duane Dunn is sergeant-at-arms.
