GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — The new chief of the University of North Dakota police force is being formally sworn in.
A ceremony for Eric Plummer was scheduled Wednesday. It had initially been set for Oct. 15 but was rescheduled when the campus vice president who oversees the police chief had a scheduling conflict.
Plummer began his duties that day. He takes over for the retired Duane Czapiewski (chuh-PEHS’-kee). Plummer most recently was the police chief at Southern Arkansas University.
