Jimmies host duals, open this weekend

Jamestown College will host the Can Am Duals and Can Am Open this weekend at the Larson Center this weekend.

It’s the second straight weekend of competition for the Jimmie women’s wrestling team.

Some of the top teams in the country will compete, including national heavyweight Oklahoma City University.

Other teams in attendance include Lindenwood (Mo.) University, Midland (Neb.) University, Missouri Valley College and Waldorf (Iowa) College.

Jimmie women’s wrestling coach Tony DeAnda expects between 80 and 100 wrestlers to compete.

The Can Am Duals begin today at 5 p.m. The Can Am Open kicks off Sunday at 9 a.m. Both days will be held at the Larson Center.
