Road reopening in national park
The National Park Service is reopening the scenic drive in the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park in western North Dakota.
WATFORD CITY, N.D. (AP) — The National Park Service is reopening the scenic drive in the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park in western North Dakota.
Superintendent Valerie Naylor said parts of the 14-mile drive were damaged by wet weather last year. She said fixing the erosion damage was “a huge project.”
The road was being reopened Friday.
