Send Grabinger, Haak and Hanson to Bismarck

Although voters have mostly new people to consider for representing District 12 in the North Dakota Legislature, the decision really comes down to experience.

Although voters have mostly new people to consider for representing District 12 in the North Dakota Legislature, the decision really comes down to experience.

We endorse John Grabinger for the District 12 Senate seat and Lyle Hanson and Jessica Haak for the two District 12 House seats.

Grabinger served on the Jamestown City Council for eight years. During his time on the council he was dedicated to providing infrastructure improvements for Jamestown in an affordable manner and being accountable to taxpayers. His experience as a small business owner along with his leadership and experience on the council make him the best candidate for Senate.

Hanson has served in the House for 32 years. His background as a retired teacher has made him a leader in the Legislature on education issues. He has also been an active and vocal advocate for outdoor and hunting issues. His experience warrants his return to the Legislature.

Political newcomer Haak’s active work in multiple organizations helps her bring a diverse knowledge of needs to the Legislature. Her concerns for road infrastructure and property tax relief merit sending her to Bismarck.

All of the candidates bring a desire to serve the people of District 12. We believe voters should choose Grabinger, Hanson and Haak.
