United Sportsmen to meet Nov. 1
The United Sportsmen Club’s Jamestown Chapter will have its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Nov. 1 at the Gladstone Inn & Suites. The meeting is open to all sportsmen and women.

Rifle range cleanup is planned for 4 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month. All shooters are asked to help keep the range clean.
The first session of the hunter education class will start Jan. 8. Classes will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday at the James Valley Career and Technology Center. For more information, call Merle at 320-8041 or Larry at 252-2811.
The club will be holding its 27th annual banquet and auction Feb. 22 at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
The club will give away free sunflower seed to feed birds on Dec. 1 starting at 9 a.m. at the James Valley Career and Technology Center.
