DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — Southwest North Dakota officials are worried about unchecked housing growth and are moving forward with caution.
The Dickinson Press reported that Stark County officials have stopped approving new subdivisions until the more than 100 already in the county are at least 65 percent full.
Dickinson City Administrator Shawn Kessel saidthe city is attempting to balance present and future housing needs by looking at the population trends and housing figures.
