FARGO — PepsiCo is ending its bottling operation in Fargo, a move that will eliminate 16 jobs.

The change will happen Thursday, according to Vincent Bozek, a PepsiCo spokesman.

Bozek said after the bottling operation shuts down at 3802 15th Ave. N., about 302 warehouse and sales jobs will remain, spread across the north side location and a call center at 4314 20th Ave. S., in Fargo.

“This was a tough decision that was done with considerable thought and was necessary for the long-term health of our business,” Bozek said.

“We’re committed to supporting the people who were affected by this action by offering relocation assistance and outplacement training, including resume support and career coaching. Our warehouse and sales positions will remain intact in Fargo,” he added.

Bozek said the bottling that was being done in Fargo will be moved to other parts of the country’s North American bottling network.
