North Dakota has its first highway roundabout near Killdeer.

KILLDEER, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota has its first highway roundabout near Killdeer.

Dunn County Sheriff Don Rockvoy tells the Bismarck Tribune that the roundabout at the intersection of state highways 200 and 22 is working as designed.

State transportation officials built the roundabout to better circulate the more than 8,000 vehicles that go through the busy oil patch intersection daily.
