S.D. volunteer helping with Sandy relief
A longtime Red Cross volunteer from Onida who has helped victims of 9/11, Missouri River flooding last year and Hurricane Isaac in Louisiana this year is being mobilized to help in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy.
PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — A longtime Red Cross volunteer from Onida who has helped victims of 9/11, Missouri River flooding last year and Hurricane Isaac in Louisiana this year is being mobilized to help in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy.
Nancy McKenney flew to White Plains, N.Y., on Friday to help with disaster relief. She could be there up to three weeks.
