Oct. 25: 5:44 p.m., ready squad responded to an alarm activation at 2511 Circle Drive (16 West, NDSH). Firefighters checked building; no smoke or fire. Cause: testing of system. Time out: 30 minutes.
Oct. 27: 6:42 p.m., ready squad responded to a carbon monoxide alarm activation at 603 18th St. SW. Firefighters checked building; no carbon monoxide was detected. Cause: faulty CO detector. Time out: one hour.
Oct. 28: 1:56 a.m., ready squad responded to a smoke alarm activation at 427 Third St. SW. Firefighters checked building; no smoke or fire. Cause: faulty smoke detector. Time out: 30 minutes.
Oct. 30: 7:56 p.m., Jamestown Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at 507 25th St. SW (Quality Inn & Suites). Fire was out on arrival; firefighters checked for extension of fire and vented smoke from building. Cause: electrical. Time out: one hour and 10 minutes.
