National Weather Service: 1-2 inches of snow expected

According to the National Weather Service, a mix of snow and sleet will continue along the U.S. Highway 83 corridor this afternoon, with mainly snow to the east.

According to the National Weather Service, a mix of snow and sleet will continue along the U.S. Highway 83 corridor this afternoon, with mainly snow to the east.

Through this evening, total accumulations on grassy surfaces will range from a dusting along U.S. 83 to 1 to 2 inches of snow from the Turtle Mountains through the James River Valley.

Significant accumulations are not expected on roads, but motorists should remain alert for slick spots and periods of reduced visibility.
