Board approves hiring of new baseball coach

The Jamestown Public School Board approved the hiring of Kelly Kessler as baseball coach at its meeting on Monday night.

Kessler, who will be starting his third season as head boys basketball coach at JHS later this month, replaces Cory Anderson, who resigned after four seasons.

The Blue Jays went 20-14 last spring. Kessler has been assistant baseball coach for the Blue Jays.
