Two Montana teams are ranked with 8-1 Montana Tech sitting at No. 7. Carroll is having an uncharacteristically off season at 6-4, but it’s still good enough to hold down the No. 22 spot in the poll.
Several teams have completed their seasons. The rest have one game to go and that includes the Jimmies, who host Mayville State in their season finale Saturday at 1 p.m. at Greeno Field.
The Jimmies (3-6) beat the Comets 21-20 in Mayville, but it went down to the tail end. The Comets (5-5) are coming off a 34-33 win over Dakota State in Madison, S.D., on Saturday. The Jimmies lost to Dakota State the previous week 35-34 in double overtime.
