Vets’ events planned for Veterans Day
Nov. 11 is Veterans Day. It will be celebrated this year on Nov. 12. The All Vets Club in Jamestown has a full day of activities planned, with a free breakfast from 7:30 until 10 a.m. A free soup buffet is at 11 a.m.

The All Vets Club in Jamestown has a full day of activities planned, with a free breakfast from 7:30 until 10 a.m. A free soup buffet is at 11 a.m. Bingo will be from noon to 3 p.m. No-host social is at 5 p.m. with a banquet, entertainment and POW/MIA ceremonies starting at 5:30 p.m. All area veterans are encouraged to attend. A special welcome is given to the 817th National Guard and their families.
Veteran organizations are invited to set up membership tables during the day. The VFW Auxiliary will again have its bake sale in the auxiliary room. The Drum and Bugle Corp will perform, and a local musical group will entertain after the banquet. For more information, call the vet’s club at 252-8994.
