Rath serves as page at GOP convention
Geoffrey Rath, Oakes, N.D., served as a page at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., Aug. 27-31. He is the grandson of Delores Rath, Jamestown.

Geoffrey Rath was the only page from North Dakota at the convention this year, although each state may have two. He was nominated to serve as a page by Sandy Boehler and Curly Haugland, and approved by the National Republican Committee.
Rath, like other pages, handed out signs, schedules and literature. The pages also took part in leisure activities when they weren’t working at the convention.
