Groups raise funds for food program
Jamestown massage therapists and reflexologists conducted their third annual daylong massage event at the Jamestown Business Center Oct. 25 in observance of National Massage Therapy Awareness Week, a national program sponsored by the American Massage Therapy Association.

Ten-minute massages for $10 were offered to people of all ages, while Noridian employees provided a two-hour bake sale. Teaming together, all proceeds were given to the local Community Action Region VI Weekend Back Pack For Kids Program for a total of $1,981. All funds went for food supplies.
Therapists Terri Rosemore, Julie Bossert, Megan Tompkins, Cathy Anderson, Marlys Hust, Annie Jarrett, Sakeenah Cross, Shaila Tahran, Brooke Humann and Michelle Kinzler and Noridian representatives Betty Haufschild and Lisa Berg and Community Action representative RaeAnn Kracht participated.
