Area teams in title games tonight

Carrington and two Region 3 teams will try for trips to the state volleyball tournament tonight.

The Cardinals will take on Langdon in the Region 4 championsip held in Devils Lake. The Cardinals are coming off a 3-1 semifinal victory win over Benson County on Tuesday night.

In LaMoure, District 6 teams Linton-Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock and South Border will square off for the Region 3 crown.

The Lions downed Napoleon in four sets, while South Border and Ellendale went the distance with the Mustangs surviving 16-14 in the fifth set.

The state volleyball tournament is set for Nov. 15-17 in Minot.
