The Harbor hosting potluck

The Harbor in Edgeley will host a potluck dinner and concert by Randy and Cathy Schlecht on Sunday.

The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a potluck dinner. Participants should bring a dish to share. Following dinner, the Schlechts will perform a concert. Randy Schlecht has sang in the area many times and will be joined by his new wife, Cathy. They married Aug. 25 and live in the rural Montpelier area.

The two said they made a CD in Nashville in February at Trinity Broadcasting Network-Trinity Music City. They also ministered in a Georgia prison in February.

Randy Schlecht lived in Georgia for 17 years and prison ministry was a big part of his life there. After returning from Georgia in 2002, he continued ministering with music in jails, hospitals and nursing homes, for funerals, weddings and more.

Cathy Schlecht lived in the Twin City, Minn., area for 16 years, where she was a psychologist. She returned to North Dakota to care for her parents in 1998.
