U.S. senators wager on NDSU-SDSU

Two U.S. senators from the Dakotas are making a friendly wager on the outcome of Saturday’s football game between North Dakota State University and South Dakota State.

FARGO (AP) — Two U.S. senators from the Dakotas are making a friendly wager on the outcome of Saturday’s football game between North Dakota State University and South Dakota State.

If NDSU wins, South Dakota Sen. John Thune will wear on Capitol Hill a Bison jersey provided by North Dakota Sen. John Hoeven. If SDSU wins, Hoeven will wear a Jackrabbits jersey provided by Thune.

North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple and South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard also have made a friendly wager involving food.
