Rath honored for work in nursing
Delores Rath was among nurses honored by the North Dakota Nurses Association on Sept. 21 in Bismarck. The event was the association’s centennial celebration.
Delores Rath was among nurses honored by the North Dakota Nurses Association on Sept. 21 in Bismarck. The event was the association’s centennial celebration.
The recognition was for nurses who made significant contributions in the field of nursing as a result of demonstrated commitment and leadership in the association.
Rath graduated from St. Alexius School of Nursing in 1955 and worked in various positions at the North Dakota State Hospital for 40 years.
The celebration included a dinner, awards and tribute to Florence Nightingale with a slide presentation on the last 100 years of nursing.
