BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A group is pushing a citywide curbside recycling program for Bismarck.
The Bismarck Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/RpAT4V ) that the Missouri Valley Resource Council plans to submit a petition on Tuesday to the Bismarck City Commission.
Scott Skokos says his group has collected 660 signatures in favor of curbside recycling. Skokos says the group favors curbside recycling because people would not have to drive to a recycling site. And he says recycling would increase the life of the city's landfill.
Bismarck City Commissioner Mike Seminary says the commission will hold a public hearing on the plan.
