BISMARCK (AP) — A group is pushing a citywide curbside recycling program for Bismarck.
The Bismarck Tribune reported that the Missouri Valley Resource Council plans to submit a petition on Tuesday to the Bismarck City Commission.
Scott Skokos said his group has collected 660 signatures in favor of curbside recycling. Skokos said the group favors curbside recycling because people would not have to drive to a recycling site. And he said recycling would increase the life of the city’s landfill.
