American Legion Auxiliary meets

EDR Unit #14 Jamestown American Legion Auxiliary met Oct. 23 at the All Vets Club with President Dorothy Speidel presiding.

Judy Hoyt introduced the speaker, Janet Tillman, educator from the Jamestown school system. Tillman spoke on the changes in the classroom for the students with all of the new technology. Also, parents are now able to track student’s progress online.

Veterans in local nursing homes were given thank-you card and gifts of money for Veterans Day. Members are asked to bring personal care items or winter caps, gloves which will be donated to the North Dakota Veterans Home in Lisbon.

Cookies will be provided for the VA clinic at Jamestown Regional Medical Center by Lola Rudnick and Eileen Clemens for the last week of November. Winter Conference will be held Feb. 1 - 3 in Minot this year. More information will be shared when available.
