SCARTA members take in exhibit

Members of the Stutsman County Area Retired Teachers Association traveled to Medina, N.D., on Oct. 23 to attend a Smithsonian Institute exhibit on the history of agriculture and food in North Dakota. SCARTA member Janet Well welcomed the group to the Medina Cafe where members dined on tacos and knoephla soup. Following lunch they walked to the Medina City Hall to observe the exhibit.

On Nov. 27, SCARTA will meet at the James River Senior and Community Center for its monthly business meeting and lunch. The guest speaker will be Dean Giedt, a former Jamestown High School teacher. Giedt will be sharing is pictures from his experience on a recent trip to Africa.
