Woman charged with murder

A North Dakota woman has been charged with second degree murder for the death of her boyfriend on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.

BISMARCK (AP) — A North Dakota woman has been charged with second degree murder for the death of her boyfriend on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.

Authorities said Alisha Crow Ghost stabbed Cole Harrison after a night of drinking at a residence in Cannonball. Investigators said Harrison was dead by the time police arrived.

The incident happened early Saturday morning.

Crow Ghost told police that she and Harrison were arguing all day. She did not remember how many times she stabbed him.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled Monday in Bismarck.
