North Dakota program awards nearly $1.6 million to companies

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Three companies have been awarded grants from the North Dakota Development Fund, for a total of nearly $1.6 million.
The awards include a $1 million loan to United Pulse Trading, of Minot, which will be used as part of a financing package to build a new production facility.
The other projects are a $375,000 loan to Glisten, LLC, of Fargo, and a $200,000 line of credit to Gates Manufacturing, Inc., of Lansford.
Glisten operates an e-commerce website. Gates is an agriculture tilling equipment manufacturer and metal fabricating contractor.
The fund was created in 1991 within the North Dakota Department of Commerce.
