JC runners earn academic honors
Jamestown College cross country runners Dave Londe, Scott Roemmich, Spencer Kamnoni, Bernie Bachel and Miranda Charley have been named 2012 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete Award winners.
Jamestown College cross country runners Dave Londe, Scott Roemmich, Spencer Kamnoni, Bernie Bachel and Miranda Charley have been named 2012 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete Award winners.
Londe, a senior from Cheyenne, Wyo., earned the award for the second straight season. He also was cited last season during track.
Roemmich, a senior from Linton, earned the award in track last season.
Kamoni is a junior from Jamestown.
Bachel is a senior from Annandale, Minn. She was honored for the second straight season in cross country. She also won it in the spring for track.
Charley is a junior from North Branch, Minn.
In order to qualify for the award student-athletes must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 and must be at least a junior academically.
