Search engine helps local nonprofits

Two local nonprofits are benefiting from an online service that makes donations when people use it.

Goodsearch.com donates a penny to a user’s nonprofit of choice whenever it’s used for searching online. The Buffalo Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross and RSVP-South Central are both received funds from the service.

To use the service, go to its website and choose a cause by searching the menu. Each search will then provide funds to the selected nonprofit.
