CNA class begins this month
A certified nurse’s assistant skills training class is planned to begin this month at the James Valley Career and Technology Center.
A certified nurse’s assistant skills training class is planned to begin this month at the James Valley Career and Technology Center.
This 18-hour curriculum is open to anyone 16 years of age or older interested in becoming a CNA. The class teaches the basic hands-on skills needed to challenge that part of the CNA test. Some independent study is required to pass the written portion of the test. All materials needed for study are available.
The next class runs from 6 to 9 p.m. on Nov. 26, 27 and 29 and Dec. 3, 4 and 6 with testing on Dec. 11. The cost of the class is $100 per student.
