Nov. 2: 7:04 a.m., ready squad responded to 501 19th St. NE, Ave Maria Village, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire; none was found. Cause: burnt toast. Fire alarm was reset. Time out: 45 minutes.
Nov. 3: 5:17 a.m., fire department responded to 714 Eighth Ave. NW, #6, multi-family dwelling, to a report of smoke. Firefighters extracted smoke from building and investigated. Cause: burnt food. No firefighter injuries. Time out: 40 minutes.
Nov. 6: 8:34 p.m., ready squad responded to 2404 Circle Drive, North Dakota State Hospital-Tompkins Building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire; none was found. Cause: burnt food. Fire alarm was reset. Time out: 20 minutes.
