Jimmies’ Mathison earns weekly award
Jamestown College junior Morgan Mathison has been named the Association if Independent Institution’s Female Athlete of the Week.
Jamestown College junior Morgan Mathison has been named the Association if Independent Institution’s Female Athlete of the Week.
Mathison, a 5-foot-7 junior from Dilworth, Minn., had 32 points, nine rebounds, six steals, four assist and a blocked shot in helping the Jimmies to a 3-0 week. Mathison also made seven 3-pointers and shot 46.7 percent from deep.
The 8-1 Jimmies, ranked 11th in NAIA Division II, host Trinity Bible College tonight at 5:30 p.m.
Valley City State’s Sekani Milligen was named male athlete of week. The 6-4 senior guard averaged 23 points as the Vikings went 1-1 at the Dickinson State Classic
