Police investigate stabbing in Mandan
Mandan police are investigating a stabbing that occurred outside a local bar over the weekend.
MANDAN, N.D. (AP) — Mandan police are investigating a stabbing that occurred outside a local bar over the weekend.
The Bismarck Tribune reportedthat police officers responded to a report of a fight shortly before midnight Saturday at the Moscow Bar.
Sgt. Jay Gruebele said 23-year-old Jace Renville, of Bismarck, reported being assaulted by two men outside the bar. Renville was taken to a local hospital with lacerations on his abdomen and back.
Police said witnesses to the fight fled when police arrived.
Gruebele said Renville did not know the attackers but provided descriptions of them. It’s not known what type of weapon was used.
