Brady Sortland had the Prowl’s lone goal and Sam Neumann stopped 37 shots in an opening 9-1 loss to Mayville-Portland in Valley City.
On Saturday, the Fargo Freeze Maroon skated past the Prowl 6-3. Sortland scored two more goals. Tyler Trader added a goal and an assist. Neumann stopped 36 shots.
Other team members include Noah Cabezas, Brayden Gasal, Andrew Haugland, Tanner Hillerud, Ian Nelson, Connor Rene, Jin Qiu Rhoad and Collin White.
The team is coached by Brady Yrjo, Tommy Rockis and Samuel Smith.
