BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Game and Fish Department is investigating the illegal killing of a moose in Burleigh County.

District Game Warden Jackie Lundstrom says a bull moose was shot near Moffit earlier this month during the first week of the deer gun season. A $1,000 reward is being offered through the Report All Poachers program for information leading to a conviction.

A similar reward is offered for information in the illegal killing of at least two pronghorn in neighboring Morton County the same weekend.
