The seventh-ranked and 13-0 Statesmen are averaging a whopping 106.5 points per game. They have five players averaging 12 points or more and are outscoring their opponents by an average of 36 points per game.
One of the Statesmen’s wins is over Grinnell College of Iowa. Grinnell is the team that had one of its players (Jack Taylor) score 138 points in a single game earlier this month. William Penn defeated Grinnell 131-116 on last Sunday. Taylor was held to just 17 points by the Statesmen.
Tonight’s game will be the 11th of the month for the Jimmies. After hosting the Statesmen, the Jimmies do not play again until Dec. 8 when Dickinson State comes to town for a doubleheader.
