Jimmie soccer players awarded
Jamestown College women’s soccer players Kayla Byle and Kara Wahl, and men’s players Ross Perleberg and Johnathan Jacobs, were all recently announced as 2012 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete Award winners.
Jamestown College women’s soccer players Kayla Byle and Kara Wahl, and men’s players Ross Perleberg and Johnathan Jacobs, were all recently announced as 2012 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete Award winners.
Byle, a junior goalkeeper from Kalispell, Mont., won the same award for track last spring. Wahl, a senior midfielder from Jamestown, is a first-time winner of the award.
Perleberg is a senior midfielder from Jamestown and Jacobs is a junior defenseman from Keerbergen, Belgium. Both are first-time recipients.
In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
