MINTO, N.D. (AP) — A fund has been established for the family of three North Dakota children slain last month on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation.
Thirteen-year-old Benjamin Schuster, 10-year-old Julie Schuster, and 6-year-old Luke Schuster were shot to death Nov. 18, along with their 64-year-old grandmother, Martha Johnson, in New Town.
The Forum reports that the fund, set up through KodaBank in Minto, is in the name of the children’s father, Kevin Schuster.
A New Town man who killed himself in the nearby town of Parshall later the day of the slayings is considered a person of interest in the case.
