Law enforcement searches for suspect considered armed and dangerous
Law enforcement is warning people that an allegedly violent suspect considered armed and dangerous may be traveling through North Dakota, South Dakota or Minnesota.
Law enforcement is warning people that an allegedly violent suspect considered armed and dangerous may be traveling through North Dakota, South Dakota or Minnesota.
FBI Minneapolis, FBI Salt Lake City, the Post Falls, Idaho, Police Department and the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office in Idaho are searching for Mitchell Lee Walck, 57, who is wanted for questioning for firing at an Idaho State Police trooper, fleeing the scene and kidnapping an adult female.
The groups sent out notification "because of the violent nature of Walck," their press release said, as well as the likelihood that he is traveling in the the area.
The suspect is described as being 5'8" to 5'10" with a medium build, wearing a long-sleeved gray shirt, light blue jeans and possibly a blue ball cap. Walck may have changed his appearance, shaving all but his mustache and dying his hair black.
The suspect was last seen driving the victim’s 2005 Subaru Forester, silver in color with the Idaho license plate K230050.
Law enforcement reminds people that Walck is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to contact law enforcement immediately and reminded not to approach him.
