Hoge cited for weekly award

Mark Hoge has been named the Association of Independent Institution’s Male Athlete of the Week.

Hoge, a 6-foot-3 junior from Ironton, Minn., averaged 26 points per game as the Jimmies defeated Trinity Bible College and nearly upset No. 7-ranked and unbeaten William Penn of Iowa last week.

Hoge, who is averaging 20.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, shot 10-for-23 in the two games, making three of five from 3-point territory.
