The Stutsman County Commission apologized to Central Business Systems during its Tuesday meeting. Central Business Systems had offered a quote for a copy machine, which was then published as part of a public notice. Then another company offered a second quote for a copy machine, which, due to a misunderstanding of action taken at a commission meeting, was accepted, and that machine was purchased. No formal bidding process occurred.
