Post 14 alumni game set for June

The second annual Post 14 Alumni Baseball Game is scheduled for June 29 at Jack Brown Stadium.

The game is open to all past Jamestown Legion or high school baseball players.

Cost is $10. A T-shirt commemorating the game is an additional $5.

Last year’s game raised money to purchase catching gear for both the A and B squads, bats for the little league program, baseballs for Babe Ruth and Cal Ripken league, helmets for the varsity and B squad and new bases for the diamond.

A cookout will follow the games. Rain date for the game is June 30.
