Sex offender changes address
A high-risk registered sex offender has changed his address in Jamestown, the Jamestown Police Department announced Wednesday. Sawyer John Suko, 19, is living at 1714 Sixth Ave. NE, Jamestown. A high-risk registered sex offender has changed his address in Jamestown, the Jamestown Police Department announced Wednesday.
Sawyer John Suko, 19, is living at 1714 Sixth Ave. NE, Jamestown. He is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair.
Suko was assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee, Office of the Attorney General. He has been placed on GPS monitoring.
Suko was convicted of gross sexual imposition on Jan. 6, 2012, in Stutsman County District Court. He was sentenced to one year and one day with 265 days suspended and supervised probation.
Suko is not wanted by police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community, nor should this information be used to threaten, assault or intimidate the offender, police said. Attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten these offenders or their families, landlords or employers will be turned over for prosecution.
