VCSU to feature variety of recitals
The Valley City State University Community School of the Arts will hold two recitals at 2 and 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, in Froemke Auditorium. The recitals will feature a wide variety of performances on instruments such as piano, flute, violin and voice.
The Valley City State University Community School of the Arts will hold two recitals at 2 and 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, in Froemke Auditorium. The recitals will feature a wide variety of performances on instruments such as piano, flute, violin and voice.
The performers are students of CSA teachers: Dan Italiano, VCSU faculty Sara Hagen, Beth Klingenstein, James Adams, Christopher Redfearn, Peggy Hammerling, Robin Allebach and VCSU student intern Sarah Rhyan.
Students playing on these recitals include pianists: Rachael Schauer, Kassidy Ronningen, Alexa Zinke, Mariah Schroeder, Caitlin Reiten, Hanna Wieland, Lydia Watkins, Sarah Paulson, Hannah Paulson, Amanda Anderson, Lexi Berntson, Thomas Pfeifer, Jacob Pfeifer, Nicholas Pfeifer and Stephanie Hoffarth; flautists: Sarah Paulson and Mariah Westerhausen; vocalists: Rachael Schauer, Sarah Schauer, and Jacob Jenness; and violinists: Clara Wieland, Mikey Meester and Sarah Schauer.
There will be a reception in the lobby of Foss Hall following each recital. The recitals are free and open to the public.
