The Jimmies, who advanced to the Sweet 16 of the national tournament in Montgomery, Ala., earned the No. 16 spot in the final poll.
Jamestown College finished with a school-record 16 wins. They won the Association of Independent Institutions Tournament in San Marcos, Calif., to qualify for nationals and then defeated Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Mont., in the opening round of nationals.
Sophomore Jade Johnson was named an NAIA All-American. Coach Phillip Bohn’s team returns virtually the entire roster next season with the exception of seniors Ross Perleberg and Jonner Lodge.
