West Fargo High student dies

WEST FARGO — A West Fargo High School sophomore has died, and school district crisis response teams were at the school Thursday, a district spokeswoman said.

The district was informed Wednesday night by the family of Tessa Miller that she had died and that her body was on life support in preparation for organ donation, Community Relations Coordinator Heather Konschak said.

Konschak said the Miller family did not share the causes or circumstances of their daughter’s death and that information on funeral arrangements was not yet available.

Konschak said counselors were brought in from other schools to help students and staff at the high school.
