Stutsman County Housing Authority was recently awarded the Pioneer Award from Emphasys Software in recognition of SCHA’s work in structuring its hosted account and sharing software resources with several housing authorities.
“We wanted to move to a system that would improve security, provide constant backup, and offer excellent customer and technical support without requiring another IT person,” said SCHA Executive Director David Klein. “At the same time, SCHA wanted to help other housing authorities in our area make that leap when we did, saving costs and providing a shared resource. Emphasys became an outstanding partner in creating a solution to help smaller housing authorities.”
Along with SCHA, the housing authorities of Foster County, Cooperstown, Dickey County, Sargent County, Ramsey County and Cavalier County joined the same software solution.
Located in Jamestown, SCHA’s mission is to provide safe, affordable housing opportunities for persons with low and moderate income and to promote economic self-sufficiency of families.
