Pingree-Buchanan-Kensal outscored Central Prairie 24-15 in the third quarter and then held on in the fourth for a 60-58 win Friday night in Medina.
The Firebirds led 21-16 at halftime, but the Rebels won the final 16 minutes 44-37.
Shawn Baker led all scorers in the game with 24 points for the Rebels. Nicholas Blaskowski followed with 19 points and J.R. Perleberg added 15 as just four Pingree-Buchanan-Kensal players scored.
Alex Eissinger was high man for the Firebirds with 15 points. Hunter Larson added 11 points while Wyatt Staloch contributed 10

Napoleon surged to a 19-6 lead after one quarter and never looked back to rout Beach in the opener of the Linton Shootout.
The Imperials allowed just two points in the second quarter, 11 in the third and six in the capper.
Grant Weigel poured in 24 points to pace the Imperials. Dylan C. Bitz contributed 13 in the triumph.
The nightcap was all Lions as the host team led 25-25 after eight minutes and that was it.
Tyler Humann led four Tigers in double figures with 17 points. Brooks Flyberg was right behind with 16.
Christian Thompson topped the Miners with 13 points.
