DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — The Bureau of Land Management wants to build housing for future employees on federal land in Dickinson, which has a housing shortage due to the state's oil boom
The Dickinson Press reports that the agency has proposed using 10 acres of land for government housing.
BLM spokesman Mark Jacobsen say the proposed housing units could help the agency accommodate future employees.
A public meeting on the plan is slated for Thursday at the agency's office in Dickinson.
