BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota man accused of stealing a sport utility vehicle with a 2-year-old child sleeping in the back seat says he will plead guilty.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota man accused of stealing a sport utility vehicle with a 2-year-old child sleeping in the back seat says he will plead guilty.
Paul Bonilla is charged in federal court with theft. The charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
Authorities say Bonilla took the vehicle on Nov. 6, 2012, after a woman stopped at a New Town restaurant to pick up a food order.
Bonilla was later arrested at Four Bears Casino. No injuries were reported.
A change of plea hearing has not been scheduled.
